Cover Reveal: Jennifer Armentrout's "Origin"

Let's not mess around with words here, when we have shirtless Daemon to look at.

When I read Jennifer L. Armetrout's "Obsidian" in December, I instantly fell in love with JLA's books. The Lux series was my first JLA book and I just loved it, and from there I read "Onyx" and then my dad bought me "Opal" for Christmas. When I saw a chance to be a part of the cover reveal for "Origin," I once again replied almost instantly.

What a great email I woke up to this morning - this cover! It's not as pretty as the other covers, but it's got Daemon's I-Can't-Believe-They-Messed-With-My-Woman vibe going on so I love it. Looooove. He's mad, he's on a mission, he's knocking down everything in his path to save the woman he loves! (Psst, if you haven't read "Obsession" yet, there's a teeny tiny bit of Daemon on a mission in it).

So here's the official info I received from the publisher on "Origin," which releases on August 27th - I can't wait!

ORIGIN official Blurb:

Daemon will do anything to get Katy back.
After the successful but disastrous raid on Mount Weather, he’s facing the impossible. Katy is gone. Taken. Everything becomes about finding her. Taking out anyone who stands in his way? Done. Burning down the whole world to save her? Gladly. Exposing his alien race to the world? With pleasure.

All Katy can do is survive.

Surrounded by enemies, the only way she can come out of this is to adapt. After all, there are sides of Daedalus that don’t seem entirely crazy, but the group’s goals are frightening and the truths they speak even more disturbing. Who are the real bad guys? Daedalus? Mankind? Or the Luxen?

Together, they can face anything.

But the most dangerous foe has been there all along, and when the truths are exposed and the lies come crumbling down, which side will Daemon and Katy be standing on? And will they even be together?

  1. That doesn't even look like Pepe for some reason! I still need to read Opal!

  2. I am of the opinion that Pepe doesn't usually look like Daemon or like his actual self, but this definitely looks less like Pepe than usual. But it does look like hot, angry, on a rampage Daemon.
