Jennifer Armentrout's "Origin"

On July 1st of this year I participated in the cover reveal for the latest installment in Jennifer Armentrout's Lux series, "Origin." Again, I present the cover for you to admire.

Hey Daemon . . . how you doin'? No, I don't know why he couldn't put a shirt on to look for Kat, but he's on a mission, don't distract him.

From Goodreads:

Daemon will do anything to get Katy back.

After the successful but disastrous raid on Mount Weather, he’s facing the impossible. Katy is gone. Taken. Everything becomes about finding her. Taking out anyone who stands in his way? Done. Burning down the whole world to save her? Gladly. Exposing his alien race to the world? With pleasure.

All Katy can do is survive.

Surrounded by enemies, the only way she can come out of this is to adapt. After all, there are sides of Daedalus that don’t seem entirely crazy, but the group’s goals are frightening and the truths they speak even more disturbing. Who are the real bad guys? Daedalus? Mankind? Or the Luxen?

Together, they can face anything.

But the most dangerous foe has been there all along, and when the truths are exposed and the lies come crumbling down, which side will Daemon and Katy be standing on?

And will they even be together?

Of course I pre-ordered, and I was giddy when it arrived on release day (from Amazon - Barnes & Noble wronged me grievously and I am not getting over it). It. Was. Amazing. It had a few grammatical errors which irked me (her books always have minor grammatical errors - and I am unemployed - so, if anyone wants me to edit her books, just go ahead and shoot me an email! Kidding. Not really.: )

Jennifer is an amazing storyteller. She writes these amazing hunky but selfless guys and these likable girls in these amazing compelling situations and you just get caught up immediately and you can't put the book down until the end. Wow.

Her biggest problem? It isn't really her problem, it's ours. Because the woman writes a cliffhanger that will drive you insane like no one else. On that note, book 5 in the Lux series, "Opposition" is due out in just under a year. Nooooooo! In happier news, the woman is a writing machine so there are about a bazillion other books by her out in the mean time. I am most excited for "Sentinel," the conclusion to her Covenant series. That series starts a little like Vampire Academy but then it goes off onto it's own fabulous storyline.

Also, Jen loves Supernatural, so she's a keeper.

"The whistle makes me their God."

  1. I am so, so excited for Origin. I am ordering it tonight

  2. Hurray! You have to love that most of Jen's books are around $6 - so awesome.
